But now that February is here, a special holiday is just right around the corner. Valentine’s Day is but a few days away. While it’s a holiday that’s should be filled with sweet romance, it’s often filled with stress. For those who are single, this holiday is particularly annoying. For those who are coupled, so often, this holiday presents so much expectations.
Fear not, it’s nothing a little sweet can’t cure. And for this, I turn to my favorite bakery in NYC. Now, cupcake is a personal favorite of mine, and Magnolia cupcakes reign above them all. Like many eateries around the City, Magnolia too offers a special limited time Valentine’s Day menu – including red velvet whoopee pie, heart-shaped sugar cookies, icebox cake, and more. These sweet treats are available now in store. Delivery is available.
Now, I must say that last bit is an important piece of information. As a lady myself, I must say there is nothing sweeter than receiving packages in the office as a sign of affection. Cupcakes in this case is particularly suitable because Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday – so flowers will wilt and die over the weekend, while cupcakes would be devoured before lunchtime
And if you’re single, I cannot think of a better treat to brighten the spirit. Really, what day is not a good day for cupcakes?
